Coffee-Banana Smoothie
This creamy espresso banana smoothie is not only incredibly delicious but also packed with healthy ingredients. It gives you the perfect energy boost for a productive start to the day.
Ingredients:
- Coconut yogurt
- Cocoa powder
- Double espresso (ideally our Mild & Aromatic)
- 50ml almond milk
- 1-2 frozen bananas
- 2 tsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- 2 pitted dates
Preparation:
- Start by adding a generous spoonful of coconut yogurt and a pinch of cocoa powder to your glass. This base provides a creamy texture and a delicious chocolate flavor.
- Next, prepare a double espresso. For the best aroma, we recommend our Mild & Aromatic espresso. Let the espresso cool slightly so it mixes better with the other ingredients later on.
- Put the cooled espresso together with almond milk, frozen bananas, almond butter, cacao nibs, flax seeds, and dates into a high-powered blender. Blend until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
- Pour the finished smoothie into your prepared glass. As a final touch, add another dollop of coconut yogurt and sprinkle the smoothie with a pinch of cinnamon and a few extra cacao nibs.
