All-round good coffee
Our aluminum capsules are made from 80% recycled aluminum. We have consciously chosen aluminum capsules because they offer the perfect solution for oxygen tightness. Our capsules are made from 100% monomaterial, with no capsule rim and no inner plastic layer. This ensures that each capsule provides a consistently high-quality taste experience without neglecting our environment. For our FSC-certified outer packaging of the capsules, we also use 60% recycled material.
Recycle: In Austria, consumers can return our aluminum capsules at all recycling centers in Upper Austria, Krems Land and Schwechat. In Germany, they can be recycled using the yellow bin/bag.

...our design originates directly from the birthplace of coffee culture? The playful ornaments on our Afro Coffee packaging were designed by the talented young Ethiopian artist Zion Yaynu , who was inspired by the traditional patterns of her native Oromia region.
