Grown in the lush highlands of Kenya, this limited Arabica roast unites the Batian and Ruiru varieties. Carefully washed, dried, and roasted, it reveals a pleasant sweetness with notes of caramel and cocoa. Gentle syrupy nuances along with a hint of cherry and citrus softly round out the profile. A coffee that reflects the character of its mountain origin – exclusive and available for a short time only!

Origin & Processing

In the Muthigi-ini Cooperative, nestled in Kenya’s highlands at elevations between 1,310 and 1,900 meters, this coffee grows on small plots carefully tended by local families. Steep slopes and deep red, nutrient-rich soils provide ideal conditions for the trees to flourish.

Harvest takes place from December to February, when the cherries reach full ripeness. The Batian, SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties are handpicked and processed using the classic washed method—meticulously depulped, washed, and slowly dried.

The result is a coffee that captures both the precise craftsmanship of these farming families and the exceptional altitude of its origin, presented here as a limited edition.
