Storing coffee beans optimally

Reading time: 1 minutes

To keep Afro Coffee beans from losing quality and flavor, there are a few things to keep in mind when storing them.

Coffee loses its aroma over time because it is a fresh product. When exposed to oxygen, the oils in the coffee oxidize – causing the beans to gradually lose their full flavor. That’s why it’s best to consume the coffee soon after opening, ideally within 4 to 8 weeks.

Important: always store opened coffee in a cool, dry place, protected from air and light. This is the only way to preserve its aroma, flavor, and freshness as well as possible.

Tip:
For optimal storage, you’ll find our stylish Afro Coffee tin in our shop – airtight, aroma-preserving, and a real eye-catcher in any kitchen.
